Based in Grovetown, Georgia, Jonathan Lupo has established himself as a strategic leader with a proven track record for driving economic growth and community development. With a robust background in urban planning and international relations, Jonathan Lupo has leveraged his expertise to deliver outcomes across various sectors.

As the former president and CEO of the Waycross-Ware County Development Authority, Mr. Lupo implemented inclusive and strategic economic initiatives that significantly enhanced job growth and expanded the tax base. His collaborative approach enabled him to secure vital grants, totaling millions of dollars, to address infrastructure needs and foster workforce development.

Mr. Lupo also served as executive director of the Development Authority of Burke County, where he facilitated the establishment of four new business locations in Waynesboro, resulting in 300 potential job opportunities without tax abatements. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Lupo is a member of various organizations including the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and the Georgia Economic Development Association (GEDA).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science. He also earned a master of public administration from Georgia College.
